Week 1
During the first week, we have online briefing on the
Introduction to the Module details, expectation and Assessment
Rubric by Dr Noorhayati Saad, Dr Yip Jinchi and Mohd Asrizal Razali. We are required to watch recorded Online lecture on Writing a
Research Dissertation, retrieve notes from My Times/Microsoft
Teams, watch supplementary lecture video on YouTube and review
back our information during research methodology last
semester.
Week 2
We are required to begin drafting the introduction for our
dissertation, which will be reviewed by Mr. Asrizal next week. All introduction information can refer back
from research methodology that we have completed last
semester.
Week 3
This week, Mr. Asrizal introduced a Doc Sheet and an online meeting
booking system to streamline our workflow. The Doc Sheet allows us to
document our to-do lists, while the online booking system enables us to
schedule consultations with him on Microsoft Teams by selecting our
preferred meeting times. You're allow to access my docs.
Week 4
This week's lecture focuses on the requirements for the literature
review section of our dissertations, including the structure, such
as incorporating charts, identifying gaps in the study, and
discussing motion capture sessions. We are encouraged to identify
and discuss five key research articles to support our problem
statement and research questions.
Week 5
During week 5, Mr. Asrizal on my draft dissertation progress and explain further
details about the requirement of literature review by checking my
peers' work.
Week 6-9
Consultation
Week 10
This week, we have our lecture about project 2: visual design for our
research dissertation. Mr.Asrizal brief us on how to start this task and
basic rules that we should follow such as layout, typography, outline,
navigation and more. We are encouraged to start this task using Adobe
InDesign.
Week 11-14

Project 1/ Research Implementation - Draft Dissertation
Before I started writing my Draft Dissertation, we were asked to
complete a literature review. Table below is my final result, or you
can access by clicking here.

Then, started writing my draft dissertation, I didn't
ask too much section by section at this stage. Mr.
Asrizal ask me to learn from senior's work. Look on how
they write and the format. And here is my progress > Draft Dissertation.
